Martin Javier Raez Fernandez
Technical Director – Fundación Real Madrid Educational Football Program Morocco
With a rich background combining elite-level playing experience and academic expertise, Martin Javier Raez Fernandez has built a solid and international career in football. A former professional player in Spain for several years, he brings a deep understanding of the game’s demands from within.
Following his transition into coaching, Martin has worked across several countries—Spain, Germany, China, and most recently in Dubai—where he served as Director of Methodology for the Real Madrid Foundation Educational Football Program.
He holds a Master’s degree in Sports Direction, Management, and Football Methodology from the European University – Real Madrid Graduate School, equipping him with the strategic and technical skills to design development programs that are fully aligned with the foundation’s values and philosophy.
On the field, Martin focuses on building high-performance environments using both qualitative and quantitative tools: data-driven training design, tactical periodization, individual development plans, and performance tracking. Beyond the technical framework, he is committed to nurturing essential values such as communication, discipline, and leadership.
Now based in Rabat, Martin joins Fundación Real Madrid Educational Football Program in Morocco as Technical Director, fully dedicated to the long-term development of young Moroccan talent, in close collaboration with coaches, families, and the wider Foundation community.
